Easy Drop Biscuits, Simple Vegan Gravy
Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, these rustic drop biscuits are guaranteed to make you smile with satisfaction. Bonus, they couldn’t be easier to whip up! 2 c white whole wheat or whole wheat pastry flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp fresh herbs, chopped (optional)
1c Good Karma Original or Unsweetened Plant MilkBuy It
½ c olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ c flour
Pinch garlic powder
2 c Good Karma Unsweetened or Original Plantmilk
2 tsp light soy or tamari sauce
1 tsp poultry seasoning
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with silpat or parchment paper.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and herbs (if using). In a separate bowl, whisk Good Karma Plantmilk with olive oil and lemon juice. Stir into flour mixture until incorporated.
Scoop approximately ⅓ Cup of batter per biscuit on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 1-2 inches in between each. Bake approximately 15 minutes, until the tops are crisp and golden.
Add all ingredients to a medium sized pot and bring to a boil. Whisk over medium-high heat for a couple of minutes, until the gravy thickens.
