Festive French Toast Fondue

Ingredients for the French Toast
  • 2 large eggs or egg substitute equivalent
    1 cup Good Karma Flaxmilk or Good Karma Holiday Nog
    1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    1 teaspoon Cinnamon
    6 slices of bread
Coconut Cream non-dairy Dip
  • 1 can Coconut Milk
    1-3 tablespoons Good Karma Vanilla Flaxmilk

  • Directions for the French Toast
  1. To make the French Toast, whisk together 2 large eggs (or egg substitute equivalent), 1 cup Good Karma Flaxmilk or Holiday Nog, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a flat bottomed bowl.
    Dip 6 slices of bread in the mixture on both sides
    Use oil or butter to coat a non stick frying pan or skillet
    Brown bread on each side (2-3 minutes)
    Remove with spatula and let cool for a few minutes before cutting into bite-size pieces
Directions for the Dip
  1. Choose your fondue dips for the French Toast. We recommend Maple Syrup or this yummy Coconut Cream Non-Dairy Dip
    Add the coconut cream to a bowl; coconut cream is the cream on the top of cold coconut milk, pour the remaining coconut water out leaving only the cream on top.
    Mix with an electric mixer until fluffy.
    Add 1-3 tablespoons of Good Karma Vanilla Flaxmilk, gradually.
    Add additional sweetener like maple syrup if desired (or use Good Karma Vanilla Flaxmilk).
    Pour into a container and refrigerate for firmer texture.
    Assemble your festive platter with your favorite fruits (strawberries, raspberries, apple and banana slices)
    Serve with fondue forks and let the Fun-due dipping begin!
